I'm looking forward to Cheryl and Ian's wedding on August 28, 2010 in Ottawa. They love the great outdoors, so last fall I went to Ottawa for their engagement shoot at the Arboretum at the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa. It was a gorgeous autumn day!
One of my hobbies is music - I'm the drummer in a rock band. This past weekend we played a show with one of our favourite bands, Ketch Harbour Wolves, at Zaphod's in Ottawa. This is the drummer of Ketch Harbour Wolves, Brian Urbanik.
Jessica and Paul's Mardi Gras themed wedding at Casa Loma in Toronto, that I shot last year, was featured on the Toronto Wedding Society site. Click here for more ...
Ryan was a ball of energy! I was at her house to shoot some photos of her new sister, Andy (photos coming soon) and took these as Andy was getting ready for her shoot. Well, mommy was getting Andy ready :)
Jack loves hanging out with his Dad! I've been doing more family portraits lately and loving it. If you'd like a family portrait, contact me and we'll chat more about it. Life moves quick - take the time to make sure you have heirlooms like this to pass down to your kids!
Finally got my new business cards. They are not quite right yet, so a reprint is in the works, but it's cool to have something tangible with the new logo on it.
I'm in New York City for a few days for a one-day workshop with George Weir (http://www.georgeweir.com) and then spending the rest of the time hanging out in the city.
On the first night, we toured around Rockefeller Center and saw St. Patrick's Church. They are doing some exterior work to the church, but I loved how the scaffolding wrapped around the doors at the side of the church.
I'm going to start posting my favourite pictures from my 2009 weddings. Starting with my last wedding of 2009, Alexis and Matt's wedding in Ottawa.
It was a lovely, intimate affair, with both the ceremony and reception being held at the Courtyard Restaurant in Ottawa's Byward Market. Alexis and Matt were both super laid back and most interested in having a good time and in connecting with all their friends and family - my favourite kind of people!
Ceremony and reception was at The Courtyard Restaurant (http://www.courtyardrestaurant.com), flowers were by Greenbank Flowers (http://www.greenbankflowers.com) and the awesomest cupcakes ever were by Little Cakes (http://www.littlecakes.ca).
